The founder
Kay Man - managing director
The world of design has always intrigued me. My academic background started with computer science and I.T. In 1996, after having been working with computing, I developed an interest in engineering and product design.
My career as a designer started by working for the market leaders in the cosmetics industry where I managed the department of design and development.
I developed products for L'Oreal, Avon, Estee Lauder, Coty and Boots Pharmaceuticals, contributing to their vast library of product designs and brand usage. I manage the day to day running of Calibre Designs in parallel with Dan including project management and business development.
