The world of design has always intrigued me. My academic background started with computer science and I.T. In 1996, after having been working with computing, I developed an interest in engineering and product design. My career as a designer started by working for the market leaders in the cosmetics industry where I managed the department of design and development. I developed products for L'Oreal, Avon, Estee Lauder, Coty and Boots Pharmaceuticals, contributing to their vast library of product designs and brand usage. I manage the day to day running of Calibre Designs in parallel with Dan including project management and business development.
I love sketching and drawing. I realised early on that graphic design communication is the career path for me to follow. My unique design style was quickly recognised by one of the largest graphic design and printing firms in the UK and this is where my career started. I find satisfaction in creating solutions that clearly convey first class content while bringing delight to the eye. Each project offers sustenance to my intellectual curiosity. I manage the Graphics team at Calibre Designs, as well as assisting Kay with the general running of the business.
